$50 GRADUATE GIVEAWAY
This event gave TEN participates $50 cash, a graduation balloon, and handwritten card with words of encouragement. ThisThis event was created to show the youth and young adults that someone is proud of them for competing an important milestone in their lives. None of the participants were able to experience an in-person graduation because of the COVID-19 restrictions; therefore, participants had to be acknowledged/ praised for their accomplishment via zoom, drive-by graduation, or no celebration/ acknowledgement at all.
COVID-19 MASK WORKSHOP

The purpose of the event was to discuss symptoms of COVID-19, prevention methods, safety measures, and how COVID-19 has affected each participant. Participants were encouraged to expand their creativity and personalize their own mask. With all that has transpired this in 2020, I thought this event would be beneficial to bring awareness to the youth about the severity and seriousness of COVID-19. 12 youth attended this event.
LAUNDRY DAY WORKSHOP

This event was created to teach youth and young adults how to independently wash and maintain good hygiene. My goal is to have this event monthly to give different participants the opportunity to learn the basics of washing which include sorting clothes, how to use a washer and dryer, and different types of detergents.
Five participants between the ages of 12 and 23 (three males and two females) participated in Laundry day.

CHRISTMAS SPONSORSHIP

On 11/28/2020 two days after Thanksgiving, a 22-year-old young woman named Precious Blackwell was found murdered in the home of a friend that she trusted. She left behind three young children (4,3, & 2 year old). I decided to help sponsor Blackwell’s children and help their grandmother give them the Christmas they deserved.
